I’m a solutions architect at AWS, A role I have had for the past one year. As a solutions architect, I am member of the sales organization working alongside sales representatives as the technical resource in the sales cycle. I work with all AWS services by identifying customer business use case and requirements and recommending the most suitable custom solution. Before AWS, I worked as an infrastructure engineer for Toyota Research institute, a self driving car research company. Here, I built robust AWS environments for the researchers to be able to conduct their AI development in a secure and reliable manner. My first job in the cloud space was at Siemens working as infrastructure/DevOps engineer for an industrial IoT system (MindSphere) in a multi-cloud environment. I am an electrical engineer who transitioned to the cloud computing industry from product development motivated by the job security, financial incentives and the prestige to work in a relatively new field that has become an essential part of every enterprise IT. It is the best decision of my life.
