Brian Galloway is a Manager of Solutions Architecture for Amazon Web Services which serves customers aligned to State & Local Governments as well as K-12 education. In his capacity as manager, Brian is responsible for partnering with and developing technically skilled, customer-facing Solutions Architects.

Prior to becoming a Solutions Architect, Brian spent 16 years as a Cybersecurity practitioner and leader supporting agencies in the US Federal Civilian and Department of Defense spaces.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Systems & Computer Science from Howard University in Washington, DC. He later earned his Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In terms of certifications, Brian is an active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as an AWS Solutions Architecture Professional.
